limestone

would limestone affect my tank in a bad way? I have a rift lake 80 gal setup that I want to put limestone from the nature, that I boil with bleach, into, would this cause any problems? I imagine that my pH and GH would raise, but that wouldn't be a bad thing in my case since my fish prefers those conditions, right?

No it should be ok. I would just wash it, I wouldn't bother bleaching as the surface of many of the more aquarium useful pieces of limestone has lots of little pits to hold bleach. If it looks os crappy you think you ned to bleach it, find another piece
