I just bought a established 36 gallon establish tank from the pet store. I was looking for a lionfish to be put in that tank. Thinking about a devil lion. Which is the most beautiful lionfish out there beside the devil?
Surely that comes down to personal taste. For the regular Volitans, I like the black ones (hard to find but some are completely lacking in red). Also, check out the Antennata and the Fu Manchu Lionfish.
Sure you could keep a small Volitan in there for a while, but keep in minf they reach 14inches or more in length. FU man chus are hard to feed...personally I would go with a pair of Dwarfs or maybe a Antenna Lionfish and A hwafish or somethin.
Please help carify this.(new to lionfish) So are you saying that a devil is considered to be a volitain? If so, maybe a chuman would be a better idea even thought it is hard to feed, I like the way it looks.
