hey guys...
have anyone heard of the liquid filter? is it any good?
i'm actually looking for a filter for my soon to be planted aquarium. guess it'll have to be the kind that wont make CO2 dissipate that quickly
any suggestion?

Liquid filter? is that the same thing as a canister filter. It's air tight with not oxygen in the mix. Any canister filter will do as long as the return spray bar doesn't stir up the surface of the aquarium where the Co2 and oxygen exchange. That way the Co2 will remain the the water.
I use a Filstar XP1 with a DIY yeast Co2 attach to the intake of the filter for my 55 gal plant tank.
I had it set-up for a year and it works great. The total cost is $60 buck.

i use a power head sponge filter in my tanks my 30 gal had the penguin sponge filter and it came with a thing to hook up with an undergravel filter to make a reverse flow but i just use a tube connected to it and aim it in the downward direction so there's lil surface movement and it works for me only dwnside i think b/c the size of my tank it don't get all the heavy debris that end up on the bottom of the tank but i get them on my water changes
