well i just couldnt take it anymore, my poor male jewel chiclid was in such bad shape and had a massive fungal growth from his mid stomach to his chewed off tail, i couldnt do anything but put him down, he went into a ziplock baggie and then into the freezer. he couldnt swim, and was upside down but still breathing for a full night, so i chose to make him pass quickly. i just couldnt watch him suffer any more. he will be missed.
