Little Vacation

Will be out of touch for the next nine days - camping in Eastern Oregon. Weather doesn't look good, but we have moved up to accommodations other than tents. lol Have a great week everyone!

sounds like fun. still a bit chilly for me to go camping. also the fishing aint all that good right now and i camp on islands on the mississippi river. nothing else to do but go fishing lol. have a good time thyra

Great vacation! But you're are right - it was COLD - at least for camping. Nights were in the low 20s and we had to unhook at night to keep the water from freezing. The area around Bend, OR is called "high desert" and is covered with ponderosa pine with some sage brush underneath. The drive home - 400 miles was spectacular- even drove through a small blizzard on one of the passes. The Columbia River Gorge is a site to see!!

Fish did just fine all alone. I just tossed some of those 5 or 7 day feeding tablets in - haven't even checked yet to see if they ate them or they dissolved or whatever they do.
