Little white things

They're in my 29G and i have absolutely n clue where they came from. They're rod shaped, white, and seem to be attached to some of the decor. I think it's some kind of fungus. There's also these web/thread like things on my plants(plastic). Maybe they're connected in some way--or the same thing. Anybody know anything 'bout this gunk?(and how to get rid of it?)

Do the *rod-shaped* thingies have little arms on the end, and they wave in the current and move around? If so, they are freshwater hydra. They aren't harmful to larger fish, but can eat little fry. With good water conditions they will go away.

There are thread algaes that look like threads (obviously!)

Okay, well, then I'm not worried 'bout the threads anymore but the rod-shaped things aren't like that. They don't move and they're just rods--nothing else attached to them.

Yeah, I know it was just a suggestion but I thought it was worth asking anyway. My fish are eating them now so I'm not really that worried anymore. Thanks all the same.

No, not ich. These things aren't attached to the fish and, even when I've had ich in my tanks before, there weren't any of these things.
