:) So awesome i'm finally here. Georgia Aquarium is amazing, its worth the drive from where ever you are coming from. The ACA is great so far, meeting so many other cichlid nuts and seeing the NICE show fish...wow. Such a variety too.

This thread is worthless without pics....oh well you gotta wait until tonight! Maybe i can upload a few to tease you. :)

Back to the show room with my cam i go!!

Ok prepare yourselfs. LOTS of Discus pictures. The discus this year were amazing, and almost totally Discus Hans's stock it looked like(German discus = good!) These are beasts. I have now decided i want discus again, from Discus Hans lol. Also this setup is for show, not photography....so keep that in mind. If you have any questions, species, size, etc let me know.

Don't be stealin my pics without permission por favor.

Probably my favorite of all fish in the show, this discus is just beautiful.

discus=*yawn* But no joke, that first one is unlike any I've ever seen before. Super nice, and it looks huge.

Wow some of those guys carry around real monsters in their pockets. I formally request a shot of the show room please just to see how many tanks are there :)

Looks like fun!

Wow, Matt, nice work on getting those fantastic pics posted for us! *thumbsups
I've got a question---see that firemouth-looking fish in the 6th pic down in your CA/SA cichlid section post (right below the V. argentea, if I'm not mistaken)? What is that, exactly? Some sort of mixteco? It isn't actually an 'albino' firemouth, is it?

Anyway, I'm just curious because of some guy over on cichlid-forum who breeds firemouths and has been on a never-ending quest to find/create 'albino' specimens. I highly doubt that that is what I'm seeing in that pic you posted here, but figured I'd inquire about it anyway. ;)

Hey Matt. If you liked that peacock than you should have seen my dad's. Between his and that one, i would say it would be a very close contest.:D

Unfortunatly his peacock is no longer with us.:(

Its not an albino firemouth BV no, i totally forgot to take a pic of the label on the tank on that one. Don't mixtecos have spots on the side? Not sure, its definently related to the firemouth if i remember correctly. But i don't remember the exact species.

More pics coming tonight. I am back home now and the computer is fast.
