i am interested in getting some live plants for my 40 gallon community but i have never had them before. all i have in the bottom is gravel. would i need anything else. i dont what a huge planted tank just a few of them. my light is just a flourescent hood of of a 10 gallon tank. i like the affect of the small light. its bright in the center of the tank and it is a little dark at the edges. i am sure this wont be enough light am i right.
any info would be cool.
