liverock in a freshwater tank

hello every one i currently have a reef tank but i am switching to fresh water ,,,,,do u think that live rock would look good in a tank withdriftwood and plants ive paid so much for these live rock and dont know what to do with them ,i think if i out plants on them as well as drift wood they would look alright but i would love opinion thanks in advance for ur help

I don't see why not, years ago I had a few softball sized ones in my 40G. I would clean and dry them good.

Be aware that live rock may alter the water chemistry in a freshwater tank.

I thought the same thing when I put my live rock in my 40G. I figured it would up the pH and help with my Africans but, it was to no avail. It was hardly noticeable but, its a good thing to keep an eye on for sure, glad you said something because it did increased my pH just a couple points.

It should be fine, rinse it before you put it in your tank though.

Alternatively... you may be able to craigslist the live-rock if it's still "live."
