My sister gave me her 10 gal that had 2 loaches in it, she moved and needed to get rid of it, so she gave it to me *twirlysmi *twirlysmi *twirlysmi

ok, she said she just feeds them flakes

Questions are

1. What flakes? Tropical like I feed my guppies?

2. Will the eat the guppy fry? I have my 4 in there, but used a net to half the tank, the guppy fry alone, and my female in a second breeder net so they don't get eaten, and the loaches on the other side. Just wanted to make sure they wouldn't bother my fry before I let up the net and let them mix

My loaches will eat just about anything that will sink down to them (although my Dojo will feed at the top from time to time).

I feed sinking algae wafer (Hikari Brand) they seem to like those. I also feed flake food to my Tetras, and the loaches eat whats left. I have found if you hold some Tubifex worm cubes or Brine shrimp cubes underwater till they soak up and sink, they really, really like those.

Thanks, I split an algae wafer in half and MAN can those things swim......lol

I took the divider up and so far they've left the fry alone. Still have big mama in the net tho.
