I did teh funny! (<--- :D )

I just bought some new Angels, not sure what the common name is, but they are very beautiful. They have black/charcoal grey fins with a light grey/milky white body with a "blush" in the facial area, right behind the gills.

Anyhow, I noticed that during the past week my largest angel (about 5") was getting its top fin whacked. Immediately I knew who the culprit was: an adult male American flag fish. Well, tonight I was watching tv and I looked up and there that fool was!~tugging away at one of my new angels! He immediately got evicted!

He has a history of aggression, so I figured he was a ~bad boy~ so I put him in the tank with my green terror and a Texas cichlid. Fool didn't last 10 minutes~! Joe (the Texas cichlid) kept following him around, like "dude, what the hell are you doing up in here?" GT (the green terror...there's a reason for the name GT) was like, "man, you swum up in the wrong hood." Needless to say, GT was beating him to a pulp! Layin' teh smack down! The AMFF has now been reduced to the molly (feeder fish) tank...¡bad fish!...

Just thought I'd share taht... :D

If you had read closer, you would have noticed that:

1. American Flag fish can be aggressive
2. But not as aggressive as CA cichlids
3. The AFF was removed shortly after introdution to the cichlids

Sorry that I didn't ask his opinion first. He was pleading the fifth.

No worse than eating your pet fish I suppose~

Well I agree that It's not nice to make your fish fight like their gladiators, but at least Avalon took the AFF out soon after and put him in with more suitable tank mates. Anyway I'm not going to start lecturing on how it's cruel to put incompatible fish together because I already see way too many people on internet boards bashing others when they don't agree with something. Whether they are right or wrong it's ultimately their decision to do or say what they want. I dunno, just my opinion. Lmk what u guys think.
