I'm looking to get rid of my Lone discus. He's the only one i have left and i need the tank space!

He isn't a show fish by any means, about 4-4.5" (Abouts) and is covered in black peppering (should lighten up depending on tank conditions), but i've found this fish the be the hardiest of the discus i've kept. A little skiddish due to lack of tankmates for a while. I'd rather get him to another hobbyist rather then the LFS.

Looking for someone local, as i will not ship. So with the rare chance you are in the Columbia SC area and want him i'd be glad to meet you and hand it off. Something like $3-5 would be great for him, but i'm more concerened about getting him into a better suited tank then what i have at the moment.

Quality is always important when starting with discus, this discus isn't Grade A stuff...but for the price and size it'd be a nice intro into the species.

To sum it up:
Selling 4-4.5"ish PB Discus. Columbia SC area, $3-5
Most recent pic of him

See, he sounded perfect for us, we've got the 75gal just waiting for discus, would be our first, so as far as him not being perfect, but hardy, would be perfect for us... but alas, we are nowhere near you. :(

How would he go in my 38-39 gal with my guppies? I dont plan to buy any more guppies and that would be my main tank.

I am in NC so, if he would go ok, could we meet somewhere in the middle? I'd compensate gas also

they wouldnt like it but they could deal. and you might end up having aggression problems or missing fry...that is if they had any at those temps.

but i advise the tank be at least 2 months old before you add a dicus to it

Do it, Limi! We're missing you over on the freshwater side. :(
(To be fair, I suppose I could theoretically join the brackish or even SW side, but I'm not ready to until we get a house).
