I have sexed my frog (at least I think) He is actually a she and I read that they do better in pairs. Is this true and is this a good idea. I have placed my Koi in a pond so now there are 2 comets and 2 blue gourami 4 goldfish and an algae eater as well as the frog. She seems very lively and eats everthing I put in the tank. She really enjoyed the ghost shrimp treat last night. Just want everyone to be happy <>< Oh and I contacted the guy that I bought the tank from and it is actually 170 gallon custom built tank. Kind of an odd size?!

I agree with ram man. goldfish and koi should be kept separate from tropical fish because 1) they require different temperatures, and 2) goldfish are really dirty fish, and their waste could actually cause illnesses in a more sensative kind of fish.

i know that african dwarf frogs like the company of other frogs, but i don't know much about the african clawed frog.

http://davidcecere.pipidae.org/

my fav site that I have found.

http://allaboutfrogs.org/

a back up though what I read seemed to read exactly like the other site, or was copied from it. there is also a frog forum on yahoo groups. I never go into it though. I have non-clawed, so all I can offer is that you can't put them with fish that are their size, they grow to a decent size, and they tend to be mean. Those sites will help.
