Lonely cory...do different species find eachother to be good company?

I have a single Emerald cory and was thinking of adding another 1 or 2(only if small) since my current one is lonely

Anyone have direct experience or good knowledge on if different species find each other to be good company? Was thinking that a pair of pandas would be nice to have
..or some other small cory

most corys like friends except my friends whos peppered cory ate his friend *shurg*

friends for cories just need to be the same size

I recently added panda cories to my tank; they hang out with the existing trilineatus cories, they're quite the merry bunch.

they need company definitely. mine will line up in a bunch of 3 or 4 side by side. weird but cute.

I had 1 Peppered Cory for almost 3 years, then when all his buddies died off i got another peppered cory and another cool looking one that im not definate on his species, check my sig. Anyways they all hang out even with the huge size difference.

corys are very sociable with their own kind and once in a while with simalar corys.my brochis will shoal with my bronze corys from time to time but in general corys won't intermix too much.

They'll intermix if there's none of the same to shoal with.

yes, if you only have one kind of each they will mix. i have 4 albinos and 2 tail spots, they all get along but they dont really hang out together.

Really it depends on the fish. It's been my observation that although seperate cory species get along, they don't generally shoal together. I'd get some more emerald green cories Gomer. I def like mine !
