As you may or may not have noticed, I have a lone tiger barb (there used to be three, but Boo has been on his own for almost two years now.)
We tried him out briefly today in the 20g, but we could tell he felt uncomfortable with the other fish. I would like to get a school of tiger barbs to put him with, so that he can live in the big tank, but I am wondering..
Will he know to school with him? Or after all this time will he be scared of other tiger barbs too? Or, since he is so much bigger than the tiger barbs at my LFS, would be just bother them? (I doubt the latter, since he is very skittish around other fish)
I hope he would just have the instincts to school... then I could move him into the 20g and give Mufasa, the betta, into the 4g.

Go for some more tiger barbs and move the betta to the 4g.
