Was wondering if fish when they get old do they show signs of age. I have a long finned serpae tetra that is at least 5 years old. All my parameters are fine ph 7.0- nitrites 0- nitrates under 5.0ppm amonmia 0. I do weekly water changes and my tanks is well cycled over 4 years and run a fluval 304. It is also planted. My tetra basically swims with head putting north, with a jerking motion. He struggles getting food and only get's about half way to the top. His top fins is rather large and has a grayish tint to it. I look closely, it doesn't apare to be a bladder issue. All my other fish are fine. He sometimes just swims in a horizontal postion. Is he getting old.
