Well, I have been wishin for a 55 to put my mbunas in and get them out of the 30 that has 2 yellow labs, 2 electric blues + 1 fry, the 1 johanni, and the 1 everyone tells me to get rid of rofl the auratus, swap the plec I have for a bristlenose and call it good. It was in the newspaper this morning with that price on it.
Hey ram man the luck of the irish usually SUX from my own personal experience LOL Im irish. Everyone always talks about the "luck of the irish" but no body says its GOOD luck LOL
So anyway, then I will have to think of what to do with my 30.
The 55 still needs a top, and lights..oh and subtrate..Im thinking sand of course for the mbunas but havent decided on what color with that background what do you guys think????
Also, now that I have a 10 I WILL set it up as a qt & hospital tank so it will up and running, ready and maybe put fish in it?

That is GREAT!!!!! I wish we had that sort of luck just every now and again! My husband is Irish as am I (with Scot) We fall into the "if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all" category. Great find though, good luck. :)

Im going to go ahead and get a lid cut for the two sections on top of the 55 today..of course its not holding a temp with no covering..will have to get a light at a later date but all it needs is a light and sand for it now and it will be ready to go. What color do you think I should use? White? Dark? give me some feed back ok? thanks!

blues and yellows mostly, yea I have local river sand in the cichlids tank right now and kinda thought about just using the same color...kind of a gray/brown sand, just go to the beach again and get more...of course clean, clean, clean.!

Man you suck big time......I'm jealous. I bought my used 30 gallon breeder with stand and some stupid stuff with it for $130 bucks, with so much flaws.

That was a nice find happy for you.

with blue and yellow fish I'd go with a white sand look IMO. But I've always liked dark color sand better, I'm going to try dark grey in the spring.
