another pic, this one from the front. They are usually that dark olive color u see in the side pic but they change to a light color(like this guy) Very rapidly when they are on some surfaces, and almost to black when they got on the leaves of plants.

We had some of those. I don't think they liked the warmer temps in our tank, though.

The Hillstream Loaches get to about 3 inches

they arent actually Plecostomus. They are Loaches, as the post above me says. Ive never heard them called Hillstream loaches though. Ive heard "retuculated loach" and "hong Kong loach"

They are pretty cool to watc hthough. i love the way their fins wrap around their bodies like a skirt or something.

They have alot of names for them Fishandfrogs.

You should see them when they eat, mine goes NUTS over the bottom feeder pellets

Yeah I did a search and I noticed a lot of sites called them loaches, but they do kind of resemble a plec, either way they are still most adorable thing I have seen!

ive never actually seen them eat. they love to move along surfacesw like they are eating algae but i havent seen them go after actual food yet

Yeah, the sad thing is, is that they don't eat algae, that's what I got mine for, but I love him anyways
