Looking for Lighting for a 29g and a 55g and Versa Tops

I have two 29g tanks and one 55g tank, all standard size. All three need versa tops.

I'm also looking for a lighting system for one of the 29g, needs to be 65w or higher.

Looking for lighting for the 55g, high watt would be nice but anything that works would be good at the moment.

I plan on buying all this eventually as I save money, thought I check to see if anyone has some used items they no longer need first. *crazysmil

Hi, when I had my 55g tank, I went to Wal Mart and bought a 48" shop light to hang over it. I made sure to get the one with 2 bulbs and it worked great. I hung a shelf over the tank, and then hung the light from the shelf on chains. When I needed to work in the tank, I'd adjust the chains to make the light higher. Only cost me maybe $20 maximum, including the materials for the shelf.

Here's a pic, just a few months before I tore it down and sold it. It was WAY more overgrown than this when I sold it.

i have a single bulb top for 29 gallon flourescent... need new lid as mine disappeared in move.

memnochskat, im going to be getting a 55 gallon soon and im going to build a canopy. I went to Home Depot and they have a 48" shop light with T-12 lights that are 40W ea.
