Looking to buy a male 6-7" male managuense...

I still have yet to find a male.
I know lots of people do not like hybrids, but what
other ciclid could/ should I purchase to offer my female
companionship? I was considering a Barred Midas from Jeff.
Is this a good idea or what? Maybe I should just be patient.

I now have 2 males. The first is a nice looking 8" male that I acquired on 11-25. He quickly bonded with my 6" female.The night that I obtained him, her tube dropped and she began laying eggs the next day. She appears to have approx. 200-250 fry as of 11-30.
On 11-29, I acquired a beautiful 10" male. I am now looking for a female to
bond with him.
Patience is definitely the key.
I am going to learn how to attach pictures to my threads.
