I found my green mandarin dead today. I had some attachment to him as I knew I had saved him from total starvation, as he was in the back q-tank of an LFS and clearly dying. Guess my efforts weren't enough or he was already too far gone.

I can only leave him with one of the finest sayings in western culture... in that great reef rubble in the sky, may his women be hot, and his beer be cold.

I plan on letting the copepods grow for a month or so, or until I can find a healthy, fat, and much larger specimen. But I definitely plan on continuing. Though I lost the fish, I feel I was at least successful in keeping pods--the little critters that mandarins eat--in good numbers in a nano tank.
