I've been tossing the idea of adding lunar lights back and forth for months now. Still can't make up my mind. I don't want anything super-bright, just a small glow. I had 2 LEDs on my 25g tank, and that produced the desired result, but I want something that I can plug into my coralife timer to run opposite my lights.

Does anyone have anything they like? Like I said, it doesn't need to be bright, just a little moonlight for shimmer effect. Thanks.

I may be wrong here with the type of light between led and a bulb, but personally, I have one of those 3 tier stand up lights from college, I have a 25W red bulb that is about 2 inches from the tank, I use that for a "lunar" lighting at night. I think it works great, and its a lot cheaper.

ya i saw something similar from another company Endl98, neat idea but personally i would want the lunar lights for night viewing so i think i would want them on and not off sometimes due to the moons cycle, i bet it would be great for breeding though

i really like the effect of lunar lighting. i prefer blue over red though. i'm looking forward to finally moving so i can install the ones i bought. (i've been slacking big time on my tank since i bought my house...hopefully i'll get to move in in two weeks).
