I have a macro algae in my tank that I am unsure of what it is. It's thin, light green, and attaches itself to the substrate. What is this stuff? I thought it was chaeto, but when I seen the two side by side the chaeto is darker and thinner.
Kind of hard to tell if it's caulerpa from that picture. Does other parts have leaves or small ball like pods? I for one don't like caulerpa for the very reason you are having, it grows like a weed. I prefer Cheato because it's easier to control. I would get every piece out if possible and keep the Cheato. Maybe someone else can say for sure if it's caulerpa.
The sea. Other than that, no I don't. I put chaeto in and when I put the right bulb over my fuge that stuff started. I'm going to pick out as much as I can.
