Made my 1st frag rack

Made my 1st frag rack yesterday, and fragged some zoas really for the 1st time..Most of the time i just cut the rock they were on to 'frag' em.. Check it out.. Any thoughts/hints?

Very nice. A bit odd shaped hehe but it works. I wish i would of used Magnets for mine.

like the magnets but i dont plan on moving mine so i just super glued it to the side!

Are the magets coated at all? They kinda look bare... As in should be epoxy coated.

Could also grind/sand the rough edges but that's not *really* an issue.

No the magnets arn't coated.. I didn't think there would be an issue.. It was a full piece of eggcrate but when i was washing it a pan fell on it and broke it lol, that's why it looks funny! It works tho

Yeah the only magnet ones I've seen have them coated. I honestly don't know if there would be an issue but it does stand to reason. To my knowledge all magnets have Iron to some extent...

Yup! no sense letting it go to waste!

Powerheads have magnets on them that are bare so i think ill be fine

Well, good point... I know I wouldn't want to risk it though . Especially for the cost of epoxy (pretty cheap).

the magnets on the koralia powerheads are covered in rubber

Those are ricordia's.. And i didn't want to glue anything to the side of my tank that's why i used the magnets
