I dont know how everyone on here feels about mail ordering fish....but for those of you who dont know, you should check out aquariumfish.net  They have really good prices, decent selection and AWSOME shipping prices.  only 19.95 per shipment...no matter how much you order!  Straight to your door!  I havent ordered from them yet, but I plan to in a few weeks once my 55 is established.  No....I dont work for them, lol. just check them out!!

They have some nice fish but I think the shipping is expensive if you were going to only oreder like 3 or 4 fish. But if you can afford it go for it! I havn't ever ordered fish online but I'm sure it's not that bad. What kind of fish were you wanting? ;D

Im going to order a bunch of neons and some SAE probably some cories.  Not sure what else.  I just set the tank up yesterday, so it will be awhile yet before I place my order.

I ordered a bunch of plants yesterday that should help the cycleing along.

Bummer for you Canadian folks....sorry.
Yeah, I got some fish from them a while back.  They were the ones who finally supplied me with the SAEs I was needing so desparately.  Got my order quick; good folks.  I did loose some in transit to the heat (colossal bummer), but they made it good.  I reccomend.
Another place to try is www.tropfish.com.  They have a rather steep minimum order ($75), but the prices are NUTS.  Went in with my dad and we got a bunch of good fish off of them.  Good folks, too.

Err, kinda of odd that fish2u have pictures of fishes not in the aquarium but on someone's hand.  Maybe it was easier to get a closeup of the fish I guess.  Check out the corys.

i recon its a lot better to get fish from your local fish shop because then you get to see it swimming around and you get to choose exactly what fish you want but yer i still think its a great thing and i plan on mail ordering fish one day

totally
i am really nervous about buying anything alive online
fish or plants
but fish especially
for most tropfish i can find them in my city and if not they will order them for me
i cant find any stores here that have a good or even decent selection of plants so i think i am going to have to bite the proverbial bullet and buy some plants from someplace online....
but i have read some horror stories about half an order DOA
if i am going to plunk down 50-100 bucks on plants i dont want half of them to be dead

seeing
is
believing

buying live stuff without seeing it is taking a big risk
