Hey Folks,
Looking for some quick advice - have a 150L tank, got it 2nd hand so when I set it up I used some of the old gravel which is a horrible brown type of stone. The other side of the tank is how I want it - dark gravel. I want to get rid of the old gravel and put in new dark gravel to match the other half of the tank.
I also have an air pump in the bottom - it has a long pipe with holes in it for bubbles buried under the gravel however I think the large number of bubbles thrown up by it don't look too well, should I shorten the pipe or try wrap it in insulation tape to block some of the holes?
Finally - should I remove the fish when I'm trying to do all of this or should I try work around them?
Opinions welcome!
