Malawi Cichlids or not?

If I have read my literature correctly most if not all my cichlids are from lake Malawi. Am I correct or do I have some Victoria and Tanganyikan as well? I am wanting to try breeding my cichlids and, I'm planning on buying a book from the new MFT sponsors and I want to know if I'm getting the correct book or not. I've got 2 blue mainganos 2 blue dolphins 6 yellow labs which I can't tell sexes on and then 2 female and one male of another species that I don't know. thanks for any info.

Well, of the three species you named, they're from Lake Malawi - the mainganos and labs are mbuna (but you need more than two mainganos to breed), but the C. moori (dolphins) are Haps.

As for the other two...can't tell you without knowing what species they are obviously

well the female and male of the fish I don't know I havn't found the proper ID on them yet. I posted on here as a peter davis peacock but from what everyone on here tells me that isn't the proper name. all I do know is my LFS sells the mature males for about 80 bucks. so I want to get another tank and try to spawn them.
