Malawi Cichlids?

I was thinking of adding Malawi cichlids to my 55G. Will they work with Tiger Barbs, various loaches, and a 14" fire eel?

I'd worry about the Loaches. And i know almost nothing about fire eels so i cannot say for that. Depending on the size of the loaches of course.

The barbs, like stated recently by me.....i've seen it done. Personally i wouldn't do it or recommend doing it.

The ones I was looking at are the Lemon Yellows, Red Zebras, Snow White Zebras, and Golden Mbunas. As for the Fire eel, it's only out in the late evening and night. All other times he's in my Emperor 400. He's made a home out of it, lol.

I also just remembered I have a rainbow shark and an albino rainbow shark. How will they do with Malawi's?

The yellow labs i would suspect would be ok, my red zebra is an agressive SOAB, so i would assume the snow white zebras would be too (this is in my experience) and the golden mbuna im assuming you are talking about are auratus' those are very agressive...im just basically worried about your loaches because im sure within a week, they will have no eyes...
