Hi I was wondwering if anybody can help me.
My male betta made a bubble nest last night but I'm not going to let him breed because I have nowhere for the babies. I was wondering if I should remove the bubble nest myself or what?
thanx

My three always have bubble nests going. As infant340 said, it is a sign of happiness. When I change their water, they just make new ones. Mmmm, betta spit....
As long as you don't have a female, there is no chance of breeding. His making a bubble nest is his instinct. It does no harm at all to leave the nest in the tank.
Hello i'm just going to thread hi-jack because it's related.
I have a really nice red male betta and i'm thinking of getting a female to breed with him. He is in a 15gallon alone at the moment. What happens with the babies, like when do you have to start separating the males out? Would it just be too much work??
I do have several other tanks the fish could be moved to. (like 5).
