male Guppies and female betta?

Well I doubt you could unless you keep up with some major wc cause that would make your tank overstocked. That is my opinion but you can try it and see what happens

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm nope. its a 1gal right? yeah thats tooo small for the female and the guppies. why dont u go out and get a 5gal? that would be nice too, then u could have the female betta, 2 male guppies and a cory cat or 2. thats what i would do!

i was going to put ina small filter also so that WC would not be an issue.
Maybe I can do a 2 gal tank. 5 would be to big for my desk at work

Try getting a 2g and put a M/F Guppy(only one) and Aurora

I think even that would be overstocked really.
Guppies are quite active and need a lot more room.

ok saw some nice males yesterday and yep they are very active lil'dudes. So I guess I would need to break down and get that 2.5 for them..OR since flipper doesn't swim all over his tank, divid that one and just us it?

Oh what to do what to do.....I also think this would be better on up keep as i would only be one tank still at work and not 2 and that's a bit much really.

A male guppy will get too active for a small tank, so it's really not fair.
Not to mention i've found guppies get a little distant and bored when they're not with other guppies [am i the only one who has experianced this?]
I think it's best to get a bottom feeder or a frog with Aurora...

if i get a bigger tank like whqt flipper has 2.5, and have her 2 male guppers would that work, they wouldn't get bored now would they?

I dont think so is good idea,i experienced before having a female betta with a male guppies,she attacked my guppies.im not sure but maybe this is based on their temperment.Anyway ive seen 3 guppies in 2.5g tank before,they are happy in there,i think is ok for u to put Aurora with 2 guppies

she attacts the bubbles int he tank from the filter...imagine what she will do with guppies....Oh and now Flipper is hanging out in the corner not doing anything at all...
