Male or Female Cories???

Is there a way to tell?

Theoretically the females have a rounder belly then the males but that's hard to tell, your male could just be flat.

I found the easiest way to sex them was to get a few and watch and see how they pair off. Now I can't tell which are the males and females but I can tell easily which is a pair of male and female. They will pair between species too it seems.

Usually:

Females: Rounder and larger (in my case also lighter colored)

Males: Slimmer and smaller (in my case darker in color)

If they start spawning, the one that's laying the eggs is obviously the female then.
