"Feed only a couple flakes, and only give one at a time. My flakes NEVER hit the gravel." really?!?!?!?!? wut brand is that?!?!?!?!!?!???????? WOW!!!!!!!!
Tetra color is one flake I use. Wardley is another brand.
My brother-in-law uses tetra crisps, he says that is even better for feeding.
I feed most of my tanks Nutrafin mini pellets. It is assorted pellets, the fish only eat what they can fit in their mouthes, it never get in the filter, sinks, or becomes a mess. With the tanks I feed flakes, I find when I vaccum I get much more debris from the gravel.
My 10 gallon is now the only tank I feed flakes too, because the mini pelets are too big for my honeys and guppy fry.
