Many Questions?

I just got 5 swordtails and now two of them have one to three white spots on them[in 29gal. tank].What does this mean.Should i get them out of the tank and put them in my empty 5.5gal.?Also anyother info on swordtails would be good.What other cool fish a compatible with swordtails?

if your fish look like they have grains of salt on them..then they have ich (or ick). You really shouldnt add anymore fish if they do have it as the new ones will be infected too.

So do the spots look like grains of salt?

Sounds like ich, it is fairly common but can kill. Raise the temp to like 85 or so and add aquarium salt like the box it comes in says to.

As for tank mates get a book from the library and look up community tank mates. There are tons too many to list.
