supplies you will need
Here is a list of starting supplies you will need.
1. powerhead or hang on back filter such as ac70 or the like(if you go with ac70 they make can make a great fuge, remember not to use filter media in sw)
2.heater, 25-50 watt will do
3 light, the power of the light depnds on what you want to keep, for FOWLR you just need a small flourecent light, for corals you need a Power compact light.
4. liverock, this will be your filter and the foundation of your tank, 1-1.5 lbs per gallon will do
5. sand(optional) some people like sand, others like to go BB
