i like medium/large cichlids that are not TOO aggressive....:)

ive had my fill of the big tank busters like managuense, midas, devils, texas, etc. i am too old for the stress.

severums, oscars, earth-eaters, etc.

I got tired of tank busters too. Dwarfs or mediums are both good in my book, dwarfs as you can keep them more easily with other stuff.
No more tilapia!

I would advise against a few pea****s, chances are youd have one nice ones and 3 colored down beaten up ones, a mix of pea****s and haps closer to 10 would be better, or just 1 male and 3 or so females of pea****s, wouldnt add pseudotrophs with pea****s too as they are too agressive in general for pea****s, yellow labs will usually work though,

What size tank were you thinking of getting?

another question- what (large sized) fish grow quickly? Im going off to college in 2 years and my parents dont wanna care for my tank too much. do you know if jacks, terrors or even plecos can grow large before 2 years? I hear some people talking on this forum about LONG term fish keeping, but im not thinking like that right now
