Hello all.
If you have read some of my topics, you know that I am starting a new tank. My final filter decisions were the AquaClear 50 paired with the Penguin 200, giving it a total of 400 gallons per hour, about 13 and one third cycles every hour, that means one cycle in a little less than 6 minutes.

This may not seem a lot, but I just want to add the whole power usage up to make sure it won't be too high, so my parents won't stroke or something over the power bill.

The AquaClear 50 uses 6 watts of power, but I never found out how much the Penguin 200 uses.

well if the aqua clear uses 6 watts im assuming the penguin shouldnt be much over 15 at the very most. And 15 watts is about equal to a lightbulb in your lamp or something.
