Mating behavior?

I have a male lyretail molly that has been following one of my females around closely, rubbing his face in her rear... Is this mating behavior or aggressiveness? I noticed he did it to my other female earlier today..
Also, will my mollies mate with my platy?

it is a mating behavior and no it wont mate with the platy... they aren't the same species of fish but they belong in the same group which is livebearers

"Faces in the anuses" is mating behaviour with mollies, as well as with many other animals.
