If we had an ugliest tank contest, mine would surely win. Who wants to see wiry hair-algae like nastiness? I defeated the nice and soft stuff, now I have rocks that are covered with short stiff tufts. Ugh!

i hate hair algae!! my anacharis in covered with it, and now it looks as if its spreading to the wisteria! its easy to get the soft stuff off, but at the tips of the leaves its a pain...

I like that idea! The pretty tank stuff is overdone, let's have a contest for people (like me) who like fish but have crap for aquascaping skills...
