Yeah, I used to work for a vet's office. I have seen LOTS of little egos hurt!!! He will back to chasing stuff and playing with things in no time!

Awww, Annie is beautiful! If I don't sound insensitive and probing, why did you have to put her down? It's so heartbreaking to lose a little fur friend! When I had to have my Daphne cat (who was 15 and suffering kidney failure) put to sleep two years ago, it was one of the two hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Absolutely gut wrenching....
I'm so sorry.

Thanks Kelly and everyone. She was attacked by my neighbors dog and as a result was paralyzed. We were willing to give her the chance to see if she would regain anything. This went on for about 6 months. She never really got any movement back and she started to sleep alot. And that is not normal for a ferret but I wasnt to worried yet. Here recently she started eating and drinking less and she became very pissy. She would hiss and bite and not really want to deal with anything. I couldnt make her live like that. I opted to do this in the begining but I gave her the chance and things just got worse. So I ended her misery. It makes me sad but it seems a little easier cause I went into it knowing that this might be the outcome. I still miss her though. :(
