Meaty Draws Blood

Wow...I'm a little shocked!
I was just feeding Meaty, like I usually would, and sometimes he mistakes a finger for a pellet. Thats fine though...But this time I guess he bit a little harder and got me bleedin! I kind of expected it with a larger oscar, since Meaty is just short of 6.5" now I didnt think it would happen so soon!

That's nothing...I have scars from Karma from when he was about 5" or so At least Meaty bit you by accident, thinking it was food...Karma bit me out of nothing but evil, malicious rage, lol. I love my monsters Anyway, lesson learned for next time

I literally said "oh yes!" out loud when I read the title of this thread...before even looking at the thread at all, lol. I figured Meaty devoured a hamster or something.

Good news is, it looks like you'll live...

LOL...my oscar bites me too and its sooo irritating. but a 13" oscar at the lfs lets me pet her after feeding her...shes a big ol sweet thing and pretty

my 13"er will bite me just cuz he is pure concentrated evil *laughingc . when cleaning he will swim by like hes not paying me any mind at all. the moment my wife or kids call me or he sees me not watching him ....its on! he doesnt hurt but when you dont see him coming out the blue its shocking to say the least. make ya wanna change ya shorts *laughingc
