Ok so I posted before in the plants section about a very small fuzzy like growth that was on my live plants. It seemed to not be a big deal so I didn't worry about it, but now it is all over the glass too. It is barley visible to the eye so I can't take a pic of it.

Last night I noticed one of my mollies had white fuzz on her mother and eye. So I too her out and added some Aquari-Sol to the jar that she was in and went off to the pet store.

After describing the fuzz on the glass and the fish the gal recommended this

I didn't ready the "may stain" *crazysmil so now some of my sand is blue where the tabs were, minor problem if it helps my fish. ;)

 So on to the questions....
1. How long should I run with out the carbon filters in the filter?
2. Should I replace the filters since the fuzz might be in them too? I have a bio wheel.

I really like Jungle's Fungus Clear tabs...they do work well. The staining on your sand won't last. Keep your carbon out for the duration of the treatment. I think the package says 4 days for the first dose, and then 4 more if there is still fuzz present. I would plan on doing the full 8 days, with a 25% water change before adding the second dose. Your bio-wheel can stay, but I would replace your carbon filter.

Perfect!!!

I am glad to here that someone likes this product. I am always questioning all these different brands out there. I guess. I will continue using their line of products if this works.

Have you used their plant tabs? If so how do you feel about them?

I have not used the Plant tabs, yet. I have some on order and I expect them here on Friday.

I've used Ich clear, and Parasite-clear, No More Alge tabs, plus the water conditioner tabs.

The ich clear worked great for hearty fish, but will kill scaleless fish (even at a drastically reduced dose) If you need to get rid of ich fast and you don't have any scaleless fish, i recommend it. If you aren't in a hurry for any reason, use the salt/heat method first.

The fish I used the Parasite-Clear on was too far gone to save, so I don't have a true opinion on it yet. But I'm about to use it to treat Hexamita in a betta...so I'll know soon.

I don't like the water conditioner tabs...they made my water foamy. I use Prime now anyway. Cheaper, and basic...just gets rid of bad stuff in the water, doesn't add anything.

As for the No More Algae, I've learned my lesson about trying to get rid of algae with chemicals...it just can't be done without harming fish and plants. A good balance of tank maintenance and algae eaters will go much further than any chemical solution.
