Jerry and Juno are both offspring of the same parents, and they will eventually be mated to produce offspring of their own. Taking that into consideration, I thought that 'Juno' was a fitting name for the female cray (esp. when you look at the origins of this name in Roman mythology, in which Juno is sister and wife of Jupiter and Roman goddess of women, marriage, and childbirth).
She is smaller than some of the other females I could have kept, but I chose her on account of the purplish-pink markings that appear much more prominently on her than on most of the other crays.
She still has a lot of growing to do before she will be ready to be introduced to Jerry.
I'll start a "Jerry & Juno's Journey" thread in the Breeding section of the forum as soon as they're ready to 'do the deed,' lol.
