And before anyone says anything about the temp, door has been open all day due to new vinyl placement so the apartment got a bit warm, it'll drop this evening now that the AC is on full blast and the door is closed.

When did you get him? Uh... do betta's need heaters? I don't have any, but i never would have thought they needed it.

I plan to get another fish or two for the tank so I wanted to have it ready to go. Tank isn't supposed to drop below 77 degrees anyway. It's been 3 weeks since I got him.
