Melafix and Coppersafe Combination?

Hey,

I have white spots on ym fish, not as "salt life" though.

I think it is Ich. I bought some coppersafe and melafix... can I combine them? Can the both be used at the same time since i don't KNOW it is ICH only THINK...

???

If they are smallish white spots, then yes, I'd assume they're ich.

Melafix is all natural and is only 1% tea tree oil - so it is very mild stuff. It can imo and ime be combined with coppersafe. In fact, it can be helpful in warding off any secondary infections in the wounds left by the ich parasite.

I will caution you, however, to follow the dosing very carefully (on the Coppersafe, that is) and to make sure that you dont' have any fish that are particularly sensitive to copper, like inverts or scaleless fish

if u r using copper treatment....pls do monitor the copper level safe below 0.3ppm....if the level higher then this ur fish will get kill...

I wouldn't recommend anything with copper. Try Kordon's Rid-Ick+
