how do you put melafix in a betta bowl of about 2 1/2 gallons w/ no filter? i'm always afraid i'll overdose, so i use other meds that are more harsh. i wanna use melafix, but does that mean i have to do water changes alot? thanks!
i just recently got melafix at my pet store and i acutally thought it was a pill but its a liquid.. so when i read the directions you should put 1 tea spoon for 2.5 to 5.0 gallons of water
Add about 1/4 tsp or 2ml with an eyedropper. Do regular water changes, melafix is pretty weak stuff and is hard to overdose. Add that amount each day and do regular weekly water changes after.
kool, i have that for future reference now. i added a 1/4 teaspoon to the tank for shyrone (in the body rot post) but whatever he had moved to quickly but thanks guys.
