I just got some melafix, since everybody says it's so great, and my angels fight a bit, and wondering if anybody has had any bad experiences with it.

I've read on the internet that the melalueca oil that is melafix is used as a general tonic type treatment for both humans and other animals, and that it can be quite toxic if overdosed. Anybody know anything about this with relation to fish? I mean obviously one shouldn't overdose, but anything besides?

Thanks all.

Melafix is good stuffs - the aquarium stuff is pretty expensive but works good. I use straight melaleuca oil (tea tree oil) these days, one vial costs the same as a bottle of melafix and will last me a year vs a month for the bottle...

I didn't like it. It made my aquarium smell and foam up a lot. If I have to treat my tanks I'll do research and find out what exactly is wrong with them, and use some stuff that was tested in a laboratory somewhere by professionals.
