MH simple Question

Heres my Simple question

How many MH over a 6 Foot tank?

2? 3? 4? 5? 6? (Altho six is a lot that would be one lamp for every foot and if you got the 250 Watt that would work out to be 1500 and over a six foot tank at about 80 gallans that would be 18.75 Watts )

Hmm thoughts..

Two yeah? that would work out to be about 6.25 a Gallon tho that sounds like shit loads

maybe i should go with 2 150 Watt MH lighting which would give me 300 watts and it would work out to be 3.75 or there abouts and would give me more uniform lighting..

What do you guys think?

I would go with three, my friend has a 6 too, and he uses 3 150w. he keeps the lights higher up though not very close to the tank it self. its also fully stocked with lots of plants.
