Hi well today i noticed that i have a few micro bubbles aroundmy tank and about two on my coral and well at first i thought it was my skimmer but its been about a months since its been running and well i read up on it and well i hear that micro bubbles are bad news. I wanted to know how i can get rid of the micro bubbles i constently redirect my power heads to get the right flow which i would need some advicein doing so. can that be an issue not enough water flow? or is it something that just happends all the time in reef tanks? i'm beating my head trying to figure out why, please help*ALL*

are your powerheads up near the top of the tank? they may be sucking some air which would cause micro bubbles, do you have a sump? if so maybe your return pump is sucking air.. what kind of skimmer do you have? ive never really heard of a skimmer causing micro bubbles in the tank but that doesn't mean they can't.. just try lowering your powerheads some

well i have a aquapod 12gal and yes the power heas are near the topjust slightly under the water line. for a skimmer i am useing a Rio nano skimmer, and no i do not have a sump i haev the four stage filter in the tank built in already, first stage is my spong and 2nd stage is my carbon and seramic, and 3rd stage is my bio balls, and 4th is my power head pump. i dont see the micro bubbles all the time i see it once in a while and when i do i just blow my hand near it and remove them my self but i keep hearing that mirco bubbles are bad, and that they can kill your coral so thats why i ask about micro bubbles, what is the worse thing that micro bubbles can do to a tank? i was hearing they cuase red slim algea what is the facts on that?
