I've been using the filter for only 3 months, so it's very new still. no problems with the filter, I just don't really need an extra filter right now. If you're anywhere near southern california and interested in a new filter, this is the deal for you. I will ship anywhere in United States, but buyer will pay shipping costs.
Millennium® wet/dry multi-filter combines mechanical, chemical, and wet/dry biological filtration functions in an innovative and efficient tank mounted external filter unit. The unique BioGrid TM plate provides a high surface area of biological filtration that is separate from the MechaniChem® filtration cartridge. In this way, biological filter functions are preserved when the MechaniChem® cartridge is replaced. A venturi air valve mixes oxygen with filtered water to improve gas exchange.
