Min. Tank Requirements?

I want brichardi. Can they be comfterable placed in a ten gallon, even if its just for one or two?

How long is a 10? It's probably a bit small for a full grown brichardi

A ten is about 2 feet. maybe a little bit more or less.

eh.... Tropheus brichardi (max size 4.5")? or... Chalinochromis brichardi (max size 4")? or... Neolamprologus brichardi (max size 3")? =P

A 10 gallon is not a good home for any of these. The only tang I would put in a ten gallon would be any of the shelldweller species, or julidochromis species.

ditto to what mike said...for any of the brichardi spc. i would get at least a 20 long

well im getting an 85 for my cichlids first paycheck. I got a new job!

But..c'est la vie, brichardi do not play well with others

a breeding pair would be ok in a 20 but i wouldnt do anything less, no tankmates either as they are agressive when breeding
